MCI Group is inviting applications for an Event Manager to join their vibrant Lisbon team. This role involves crafting unique event experiences, managing budgets, and leading innovative projects in a diverse environment.

The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of event management experience in Portugal, with strong communication skills in Portuguese and English. The position offers flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

• Design proposals that win: Create tailored, high-impact event proposals that reflect each client’s vision while showcasing the best of Portugal.
• Drive value through smart partnerships: Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate effectively to deliver top-quality experiences within budget.
• Bring ideas to life: Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations to ensure seamless delivery—from concept to onsite execution.
• Lead with innovation & sustainability: Integrate new trends, technology, and sustainable practices into your projects.
• Keep everything (and everyone) aligned: Manage timelines, budgets, and client communication with clarity and confidence, using CRM and digital tools.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as an Event Manager in Portugal.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (B2+), both written and spoken.
• Strong budgeting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure without compromising quality.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and solution-driven mindset.
• Flexibility to travel (Portugal & internationally).
• Comfortable using AI tools and digital platforms to improve efficiency.
• Bonus points: experience with Cvent, CRM tools, additional languages.
