Banco Finantia is seeking an ESG Risk Officer to embed ESG risk considerations across the Group's risk management framework. The role focuses on integrating ESG factors into Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring and RAF, and developing climate risk methodologies including NGFS stress testing.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a relevant field and has 10+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in ESG risk management. Fluency in English is required; Portuguese language skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Management or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years focused on ESG Risk Management.
• Solid understanding of banking risk management frameworks and ESG regulatory requirements (EBA/ECB).
• Experience in climate risk assessment covering physical and transition risks.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and operationalize the Group ESG Risk Framework across units and geographies.
• Integrate ESG factors into Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring and the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF).
• Develop climate risk methodologies, including NGFS climate stress testing exercises.
• Prepare ESG regulatory disclosures, including Pillar III ESG requirements and CSRD reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, IT and Business teams to ensure effective ESG risk management and reporting; engage regulators and auditors.
