We are looking for an Engineering Lead Marketplace to lead and evolve the engineering organisation within our product domain Marketplace at our location in Porto.

This role will be responsible for leading three engineering teams and driving engineering excellence, organisational scalability, delivery effectiveness and people development across the product domain Marketplace.

The Engineering Lead Marketplace will lead software engineers, architects and QA professionals while working closely with the Product Lead Marketplace, stakeholders and leadership to ensure strong engineering execution, operational clarity and cross-functional collaboration across multiple Marketplace development teams.

This is a leadership-focused role combining people management, engineering operations and organisational development within a collaborative and international environment.

Engineering leadership and team development

• You lead and develop software engineers and QA professionals across multiple development teams.
• You collaborate closely with architects and contribute to the technical direction within the Marketplace domain.
• You foster a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration, accountability, ownership, continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• You drive performance management and team development initiatives across Marketplace engineering teams.
• You establish clear expectations, create growth opportunities and support progression for engineering teams.
