Overview

Telecommunications Engineer – Business Development (Simplifyd)

Multivision is strengthening the team behind Simplifyd, its cloud-based platform for intelligent automation, management and optimization of mobile networks. We are looking for a Telecommunications Engineer interested in progressing into a hybrid role that blends technical expertise with commercial responsibility, supporting customers, opportunities and product demonstrations.

This is a unique opportunity for professionals with a technical background in mobile networks who want to grow into Business Development, Sales Engineering or Product Management roles.

Simplifyd is a modular, multi-vendor platform for advanced mobile network management, integrating:

• Network Planning
• Configuration Management (CM)
• Performance Management (PM)
• Drive Test & Data Analytics
• Workflow Automation

Built with a strong R&D component, Simplifyd incorporates automation, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence applied to 2G–5G networks.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and execution of Simplifyd’s commercial growth strategy with mobile operators.
• Gather and analyse customer technical requirements, translating them into product opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations of the platform (Trials).
• Support the preparation of commercial and technical proposals.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, development and R&D teams.
• Support both national and international customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.

No prior experience in Sales is required — we provide full support for your development in this career path.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in mobile networks (RAN 2G–5G), OSS/BSS, planning, optimisation or configuration/performance management (CM/PM).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and interact effectively with internal teams and customers.
• Strong organisational skills, proactivity and results orientation.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Availability for on-site work in Lisbon and occasional international travel.
• Engineer with strong interest in evolving towards Sales Engineering or Business Development, while maintaining technical depth.
• Natural curiosity for automation, AI and Telco technology trends.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and collaborative approach.
