Critical Software seeks a Cluster Technology Director to define and lead the technical vision for our Energy & Critical Infrastructure cluster. As CTD, you own the technical direction, set architecture principles and reference roadmaps, and ensure safety-critical energy software meets cybersecurity and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software engineering and technical leadership experience in energy/critical infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of energy ecosystem including utilities, TSOs/DSOs, OEMs, and metering vendors
• Expertise across architectures: smart metering, grid, head end systems, substation automation, embedded platforms
• Strong cybersecurity, interoperability, and secure design for regulated environments
• Practical view on AI/ML in operational energy including risk, validation and security
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to customers and leadership
• Leadership through influence; mentoring senior technical people across projects
• Commitment to safety, reliability, quality and ethics
• Strategic, pragmatic, and execution-focused with credibility
• Alignment with Critical Software's mission and values
• Excellent English communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead the technology vision, principles, and reference roadmaps for the cluster, aligned with company strategy
• Act as the technical authority for regulated energy software across metering, head end, substations, grid and renewables
• Grow the cluster on solid foundations, with scalable architectures and reusable assets
• Set cybersecurity and secure design standards for critical infrastructure
• Be the escalation point for architectural, safety and regulatory decisions
• Advance AI in energy delivery where it solves real problems with attention to security and regulation
• Collaborate with the CTO to build capabilities that sharpen Critical's edge
• Mentor senior engineers and architects across the cluster and represent Critical in industry forums
