Aptiv is seeking a SOX Compliance and Internal Controls Coordinator to support a strong control environment across EMEA Shared Service Centers. The role focuses on executing the SOX framework, improving internal controls, and coordinating audits with EY to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a degree in business administration or related field, experience in internal controls or external audit, solid US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and fluent English with willingness

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in Internal Controls or an external audit environment.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting guidelines.
• Good understanding of SOX requirements and internal control principles.
• Very good analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the Aptiv SOX framework, including coordination of SOX documentation and validation testing.
• Review and strengthen internal control processes across EMEA Shared Service Centers.
• Participate in site and process reviews, supporting the implementation and sharing of best practices.
• Support the quarterly SOX certification process and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Identify internal control gaps and support the development and implementation of improvement action plans.
• Follow up on internal control issues and monitor related corrective actions.
• Support the coordination of EY audits within the Global Shared Services Organization.
