Smartcat is seeking an engineering role in Lisbon that focuses on building and deploying enterprise translation workflows. You will lead technical discovery, onboarding, and renewals, with hands-on coding and customer-facing responsibilities for L&D, websites, and marketing workflows.

You will design AI-enabled translation pipelines, create robust integrations, and ensure production readiness while collaborating with account teams to demonstrate value and drive adoption across regions.

Formación

• Proven track record shipping software integrations for enterprise customers.
• Hands-on coding across APIs, authentication, and data transformation.
• Experience building AI workflows and evaluating quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders, and the ability to scope ambiguous requests.
• Ownership through deployment, documentation, customer enablement, and adoption.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsabilidades

• Scope customer needs into technical plans with clear dependencies, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Build AI workflows using prompts, glossaries, translation memories, and human review to meet customer terminology, brand, and quality requirements.
• Write and deploy integrations with CMS, DAM, PIM, LMS, and commerce systems, preserving content structure, metadata, and context.
• Own production readiness: secure data access, testing, error handling, monitoring, quality evaluation, and review routing; document the solution and ongoing ownership.
• Support customer enablement and adoption with Account teams, measure results, and identify valuable follow-on workflows.
• Turn customer work into reusable connectors, evaluation suites, and deployment patterns, informing Product and Engineering priorities.
