Job summary

Volis, a rapidly growing data solutions startup, seeks an embedded software engineer to help transform chaos into order. You will work on the Volis Mining product, building and maintaining embedded Linux systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software.

You should have hands-on experience with C/C++/Go, Git, Linux, and Yocto, plus scripting in Python or Bash. Fluent English and strong debugging skills are essential as you mentor teammates and help shape scalable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Embedded software engineering experience.
Experience with Git version control.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Experience with Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project.
C, C++, or Go development experience.
Python or Bash scripting.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the vision and innovation of Volis Mining product offerings.
Resolve critical issues impacting the Volis Mining ecosystem.
Lead development and quality efforts with product and project managers to meet schedules and quality standards.
Diagnose root causes in development and field environments.
Develop onboarding and training for new team members.
Mentor junior team members.
Demonstrate outstanding debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Bring solid embedded software engineering experience to Volis projects.
