STRYPES, a Dutch-Portuguese software development company, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its Lisbon-Porto team. The role focuses on developing embedded software, including embedded Linux, real-time operating systems, and bare-metal work, across devices and drivers in a hybrid work model with offices in Lisbon and Porto.

Candidates should hold an engineering background and strong C/C++/Python skills, OO programming, and a GNU/Linux background; English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Academic background in Engineering or similar (Software, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics).
• Knowledge of C/C++/Python or other programming language used in embedded/systems programming context.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Preferably with a GNU/Linux background.
• Proactive attitude, critical thinker, and problem solver.
• Motivated individual with the ability to think outside the box.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the software development life cycle: analyze, design, develop, test, debug, profile, and maintain embedded software, potentially encompassing applications, device drivers, network stacks, board support packages, real-time operating systems, and bare-metal executives;
• Produce technical documentation as required;
• Interface with clients and partners to understand their wants and needs.

Your daily responsibilities include:
