We seek an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Portugal, with Lisbon or Aveiro as hybrid locations.

You will develop and maintain embedded software in C++, work in Embedded Linux environments, and collaborate with hardware, firmware and software teams to deliver

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of professional Embedded Software Development
• Strong hands-on experience with C++
• Experience working in Embedded Linux environments
• Knowledge of debugging, integration and testing
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Understanding of CAN, SPI, I2C, UART or Ethernet

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C++
• Design, implement and optimize software for embedded systems
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and software teams
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements analysis to testing and validation
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
• Contribute to software quality, performance and reliability improvements

We are currently looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Portugal.

Location: Lisbon or Aveiro, Portugal

Your Role

• Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C++
• Design, implement, and optimize software for embedded systems
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and validation
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
• Contribute to software quality, performance, and reliability improvements

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Development
• Strong hands-on experience with C++
• Experience working in Embedded Linux environments
• Knowledge of software debugging, integration, and testing
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, or Ethernet
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with RTOS
• Knowledge of C programming
• Background in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Automation, IoT, or related industries
• Experience with hardware/software integration
