As an embedded C++ developer, you will join an international development team implementing award-winning eBike components. You will design, integrate, and debug software for a range of components for the Bosch eBike System, collaborating closely with hardware engineers, design teams and product managers to meet both end‑user and market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Firmware Development: Write SW requirements, design, implement, and test embedded software for eBike modules using C++ (C for low‑level drivers).
- Software Quality: Ensure quality through comprehensive tests, code reviews, and continuous optimization.
- Process Development: Experience the entire software development process from detailed requirements analysis to successful series support.
- System Integration: Ensure proper communication and integration between eBike subsystems/modules.
- Connectivity Design: Develop and implement robust communication protocols (CAN, UART, BLE, SPI).
- Collaboration: Work with cross‑disciplinary teams to align hardware, software, and design requirements for optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Programming: Proficiency in C++ (and C) for embedded systems.
- Microcontroller Experience: Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers and hardware/software integration.
- Communication Protocols: Strong knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and BLE protocols for eBike system communication.
- RTOS: Ability to understand and use RTOSs.
- Debugging Tools: Experience with JTAG, tracer, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and serial monitors.
- System Testing & Automation: Lab and field testing, Python, Jenkins.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Jira.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required.
- Working Style and Methods:
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany.
- Plus: STM32CubeIDE, TensorFlow.
