Bosch Service Solutions S.A. in Lisbon seeks an Hardware Test Engineer for eBike projects. You will design advanced hardware architectures, ensure signal integrity, and lead testing from prototyping to production ramp-up.

The role requires BSc/MSc in electronics or related field, hands-on hardware testing experience, and fluent English. Expect collaboration across global teams and opportunities for career progression within Bosch.

Qualificações

• BSc/MSc in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in hardware design, schematic capture and PCB development.
• Knowledge of EMC and safety standards; debugging hardware.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop advanced hardware circuit architectures with focus on feasibility, signal integrity and performance.
• Define, coordinate and execute comprehensive testing and validation plans for production ramp-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and production plants to optimize design for manufacturing and testing.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges and hardware bugs from prototyping to series production.
• Ensure compliance with global EMC and safety standards.
• Drive test automation initiatives and maintain hardware test equipment.

Design and developadvanced hardware circuit architectures, ensuring feasibility, signal integrity, and performance.

What distinguishes you:

Education

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical

Experience

Proven experience in hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB development (preferably within consumer electronics, IoT devices, smart displays, or ECU-related products).

Practical experience in hardware testing, debugging, and failure.

Knowhow

Hardware Design:Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout technologies, andcomponentselection.

EMC Compliance:Solid understanding of EMC-compliant design rules, shielding, and shielding/filtering techniques.

Manufacturing Statistics:Familiarity with production quality metrics such as Yield, First Pass Yield (FPY), Process Capability (Cpk), and Gauge R&R (GR&R).

Software & Programming:Basic programming skills in C/C++, Python, LabVIEW,TestStand, or Visual Basic for test automation are a strong advantage.

Languages

Fluency in English (written and spoken) isrequired.
