Addvolt is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer in Porto, Portugal, for a permanent full-time role. Our Embedded teams are multidisciplinary, working in an integrated way across hardware, firmware, and software. We are currently looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with high energy, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on:
Collecting and processing data from multiple sources and protocols, transmitting it to backend services, and controlling systems based on received data or remote requests.
Analyzing issues and new feature requests, defining requirements, designing and implementing solutions, as well as performing thorough validation and testing.
Developing reusable drivers and modules applicable to multiple firmware projects, ranging from telematics systems to power electronics control, as well as application‑level logic.
