Addvolt in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work on telematics and IoT projects, collecting data from multiple sources, transmitting to backend services and controlling systems on remote requests.

You will develop reusable drivers and firmware modules across hardware and software domains. The role requires hands-on microcontroller experience (ARM Cortex-M), strong C programming, and knowledge of CAN/UART/SPI/I2C/TCP-IP, with

Qualificações

  • At least 3 years of experience programming embedded systems in C.
  • Hands-on with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M).
  • Knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable code.
  • Experience debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Strong embedded hardware interfaces understanding.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work cross-functionally.
  • Nice to have Python scripting and modular architecture thinking.
