Aubay Portugal is looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will develop, maintain and optimize software for embedded systems using C/C++ and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

We value 4+ years of hands-on experience, strong memory management and hardware interaction skills, and fluency in English and Portuguese (B2). The project offers remote-friendly work and a supportive growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience in embedded systems.
• Strong C and/or C++ programming in embedded environments.
• Knowledge of memory management, debugging and hardware/software interaction.
• Experience with Git and debugging/testing tools.
• Portuguese and English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize software for embedded systems.
• Design and implement software components using C/C++ in embedded environments.
• Debug, test and troubleshoot embedded software and hardware interaction.
• Analyze technical requirements and contribute to software solutions.
