Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in Porto to assemble electro-mechanical equipment, following blueprints and manuals to ensure high-quality results.

You will handle tools, inspect components, and repair faulty parts, while supporting continuous improvement and training for others. The role requires a high school diploma, CET Level 5 is a plus, and experience in industrial or automotive sectors, plus English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CET Level 5 CNQ DGERT is a plus.
• Experience in an Industrial or Automotive sector.
• Technical skills in electronics and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work at height, in confined spaces, around high voltage.
• Lift up to 35 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, schematics, and manuals to assemble correctly.
• Assemble electro-mechanical equipment to high quality standards.
• Handle electrical and manual tools with proficiency.
• Perform inspections of products, components, and raw materials.
• Repair or replace faulty components and mechanical parts as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to other Operators.
• Fulfill goals.
