Job summary

Sidel is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our Portugal production team. You will build custom automation and process equipment, perform electrical assembly, wiring, and cabling of machinery, and support panel building.

You will read and interpret electrical schematics, install components like sensors and cables, and collaborate with engineering and production to deliver projects on time while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical assembly and installations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of international wiring standards.
• Experience in control panel assembly is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.

Your Mission

• Perform industrial electrical assembly, wiring, and cabling of custom-built machinery.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels (panel building experience is highly valued).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Install, connect, and verify electrical components, including sensors, control devices, cables, and identification systems.
• Ensure all electrical work meets our quality standards and follows industry best practices.
• Safely operate hand and power tools while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in the assembly, installation, or maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of electrical components, industrial cabling, and wiring practices in accordance with international standards.
• Experience in electrical control panel assembly is considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
