STET – Sociedade Técnica de Equipamentos e Tractores, SA in Portugal seeks an electrical technician to read schematics, install and maintain electrical equipment, including generator sets and ATS. You will collaborate with teams to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, operation of test instruments, and participation in FAT/SAT with national and international travel required.

Qualificações

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the sector.
• Experience with electrical systems, preferably generators.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• English and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals, install and maintain control panels and motors.
• Operate electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters and power quality analysers.
• Assemble and configure electrical equipment, especially generator sets and ATS.
• Support FAT and SAT and prepare test reports.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and diagnose faults.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals, and install and maintain electrical equipment such as control panels and motors.
• Operate electrical measuring instruments (e.g. multimeters and power quality analysers).
• Assemble, prepare and configure electrical equipment, primarily generator sets and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
• Support and carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including the preparation of the corresponding test reports.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, diagnosing faults and carrying out the necessary repairs.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field (e.g. completion of a technical/vocational secondary education programme in Electronics or Electrotechnics).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the sector.
• Experience in the electrical sector, preferably with generator sets (power generation).
• Availability to attend technical training and continuous development programmes.
• Availability for national and international travel (mandatory).
• Proficiency in English and/or Spanish, both written and spoken, will be considered an asset.
