Job summary

Keenfinity in Portugal seeks an Electrical Engineer for the quality area. You will lead quality activities during product development, defining targets and ensuring gates are met, with a focus on data-driven improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical components, experience across development processes and ISO standards, and fluent English. Hybrid work and diverse global collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with electrical components.
• Experience in electronics or video/photo related industry.
• Experience with development processes and agile principles; ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO27001).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, teamwork across international stakeholders and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality function in product development to identify opportunities and meet quality gates.
• Derive measures to improve preventive quality and contribute to implementation.
• Collaborate with teams throughout the product lifecycle and track QA measures.
• Create methods and monthly reports to manage stakeholder expectations and data-driven quality communication.
• Identify and drive quality improvements and warranty cost reduction using 8D, Fishbone, 5Why techniques.
• Monitor warranty return data, failure costs and customer complaints for early quality detection.
• Develop quality improvement targets aligned with business objectives.
• Manage supplier quality issues, new product launches and supplier development.
• Contribute to reduced Time-to-Market through improved processes and deviation avoidance.
