Infineon Technologies AG, through WeAreIn, seeks a data-analytics oriented EHS trainee in Porto, Portugal, to join its sustainability initiatives. You will contribute to EHS projects, build dashboards, analyze data, and support digitalization and AI-driven improvements while collaborating with an international team.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Environmental Science or related fields, are fluent in English, and show interest in automation and data-visualization tools such as Excel, Power

• Degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Science, Data Sciences or a science field.
• ISO 45001, 14001, 50001 experience would be a plus.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Digitalization, automation, and AI knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Environmental, Health & Safety: Support maintenance and improvement of the Global EHS Management System using data analysis.
• Project Implementation: Support EHS-related project implementations.
• Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze EHS data; develop reports and dashboards.
• Digitalization / Automation: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and reporting.
• AI Approach: Assist in developing AI-driven approaches for data analysis and knowledge management.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

In this role, you will contribute to Environmental, Health & Safety projects with a strong focus on data analytics, digitalization, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that enhance decision-making, reporting efficiency, and process excellence, while collaborating with an international team shaping Infineon's path to be a role model in sustainability.

• Environmental, Health & Safety: Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Global Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, by assisting in the preparation and analysis of data related to EHS performance indicators
• Project Implementation: Support the implementation of projects related to EHS
• Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze EHS-related data from various sources. Develop reports, dashboards, and management presentations to support decision-making
• Digitalization / Automation: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and reporting activities
• AI Approach: Assist in developing AI-driven approaches for data analysis, reporting, knowledge management, and process optimization

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Educational Background: A degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Science, Data Sciences (with a focus on EHS) or a Science field
• Experience: Previous contact with ISO 45001, 14001, and 50001 would be a plus
• Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Digitalization and Automation: Interest and knowledge in process automation and digitalization (mandatory) and AI technologies would be a plus
• Tools: Very good knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory), written and spoken
