Extia, a leading engineering consultancy, invites you to join a DevOps-focused team in Porto. You will coach operations on IaC, automation, and modern deployment practices, and help migrate toward OpenShift and containerized environments while improving release pipelines.

You'll work with Windows/IIS administration, Python and PowerShell scripting, XL Deploy and XL Release, and collaborate with international teams to ensure smooth deployments and reliable infrastructure across projects.

Qualificações

• Experience in Windows/IIS administration and scripting.
• Strong DevOps practices and automation focus.
• Hands-on experience with XL Deploy and XL Release.
• Practical OpenShift experience with containers and pods.
• Ability to coach teams on Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

First who:

• Professional with experience in Windows/IIS administration, scripting, automation, and DevOps practices
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and PowerShell
• Experienced in XL Deploy and XL Release, with a solid understanding of release management and deployment pipelines
• Practical experience with OpenShift, including containers, images, and pods
• Strong communicator, comfortable coaching and training Operations teams on Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and modern DevOps practices
• Autonomous, collaborative, and comfortable working with remote and international teams
• Fluent in English; French is a plus
• Knowledge of C# is a plus, particularly to better understand existing applications

Then what:

What You'll Do:

• Coach and train Operations teams on Infrastructure as Code, scripting, automation, and modern DevOps practices
• Own, maintain, and continuously improve release management and deployment pipelines using XL Deploy and XL Release
• Maintain and support the existing IIS/Windows VM infrastructure
• Drive the migration from traditional Windows VM infrastructure towards OpenShift and containerized environments
• Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions using Python and PowerShell
• Work closely with Operations and other technical teams to improve deployment and infrastructure processes
• Support the adoption of modern DevOps practices and help teams evolve towards more automated and efficient ways of working
• Collaborate remotely with international stakeholders and ensure clear technical communication throughout infrastructure and deployment activities
• Contribute to the understanding and evolution of existing applications, with C# knowledge being an additional advantage

What We're Looking For:

• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and PowerShell
• Hands‑on experience with XL Deploy and XL Release
• Solid experience in Windows and IIS administration
• Good practical experience with OpenShift, including containers, images, and pods
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices
• Fluent English; French is a plus
• C# knowledge is a bonus to better understand existing applications
