Capgemini Portugal is seeking a DevOps Engineer to automate deployments, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work across development, testing, and production environments, collaborating with software engineering, QA, security, and product teams to ensure reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on scripting (Bash, Python), Terraform-based IaC, and Azure cloud services, with a focus on improving delivery efficiency in a hybrid work setting

Qualificações

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and deployment
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automation
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and business
• Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and FinOps in shared platforms
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code and cloud-native tooling
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and operations
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration on Azure platforms

Responsabilidades

• Automate and optimize deployments and testing pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery across development, test, and production environments.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, using tools and dashboards to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues rapidly.
• Build and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operational tools, supporting stable and scalable infrastructure for web and mobile applications. Implement and manage cloud, containerization, and IaC solutions, using Azure, and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to streamline operational workflows and support CI/CD processes with GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, Security, Product, and Operations teams in cross-functional environments to meet SLAs and business goals.
• Ensure governance, security, and FinOps practices are followed in shared platforms.

YOUR ROLE

Automate and optimize deployments and testing pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery across development, test, and production environments.

YOUR PROFILE

Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, from design and development to deployment and operations.

Solid ability to align platform and engineering initiatives with business objectives, user expectations, and service‑level requirements.

Proven experience collaborating with Software Engineering, QA, Security, Product, and Operations teams in cross‑functional environments.

Skilled in identifying process inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and driving automation and standardization initiatives.

Good understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and FinOps principles in shared platform environments.

Hands‑on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.

Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Familiarity with Bash and Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.

Capable of monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting development, testing, and production environments.
