Job summary

Inetum is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join its IT team in Lisbon. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Nomad and Kubernetes while collaborating with developers and security teams.

You will develop CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor performance, and enforce security best practices. Strong scripting, cloud, and networking skills are required for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• Proven DevOps Engineer with strong Linux background.
• Expertise in Nomad and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, or Ruby scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Terraform.
• Strong networking, security, and system administration know-how.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Nomad and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve reliability via scripting and config management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Support LDAP/AD integration and privileged access procedures where applicable.
