A leading Iberian IT service provider is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join its team in Portugal. This full-time position involves designing cloud solutions, managing deployment pipelines, and ensuring system security. The ideal candidate has solid experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, along with good English skills. Opportunities for remote work and continuous training are included.

Qualificações

Experience as DevOps Engineer required.
Strong experience with AWS is essential.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus.
Ansible know-how.
Good English skills, both spoken and written.

Responsabilidades

Design and architect solutions for client applications in AWS.
Build tools that support deployment and management of platforms.
Ensure system security and monitor performance.
Supporting and troubleshooting scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, back-up and restores of different environments;
Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions;
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains;
Create, maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines;
Work with Cloud Infrastructure team on Cloud migration of applications.

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to integrate our teams in one of Portugal’s main suppliers in the delivery segment. Our client is one of the leading parcel services nationwide, with a vast network of over 55 agencies and over 1000 Parcel Shops. It has created a stable and sustainable European parcel transport network in just a few years.

What you will do

Designing and architecting solutions for existing client facing applications as they are moved into cloud environments, such as, AWS;
Designing and building tools as well as frameworks that support deploying and managing our platforms;
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements;
Supporting and troubleshooting scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, back-up and restores of different environments;
Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions;
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains;
Create, maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines;
Work with Cloud Infrastructure team on Cloud migration of applications.
