Role overview

Are you ready to elevate your career as a Java Software Engineer by joining one of our largest international partners in the telecommunications sector, based in Portugal? This is a major player in the industry, with a strong presence in over six countries. These are hybrid positions based in either Lisbon or Porto.

You will join a qualified team of Software Engineering and you will contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge solutions following internal best practices. We are looking for Backend or Full-stack developers with a strong focus on Java backend development, eager to explore new technologies and innovative approaches. We value a disruptive mindset, resilience in the face of challenges, out-of-the-box thinking, and a willingness to take risks.

What you are like

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge in Spring Boot and experience with Microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS (or a willingness to learn on the job if you don’t have it yet!)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• If you're a Fullstack Developer, we value experience with frontend technologies like React.js or Angular
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team
• Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others
• Proficiency in English (B2+) and Portuguese is a must
