Job summary

Mindera is seeking a Product Manager to drive the evolution and adoption of a Design System that delivers consistent, scalable digital experiences across Web and App platforms. This role bridges design and engineering, owning the vision, roadmap, governance and adoption across the digital ecosystem.

We value empathy, self-organization and clear communication. The position offers remote-from-Portugal options, UK travel a couple of times per month, flexible hours and an AI-assisted product

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on a design system, component library or internal platform product.
• Experience treating a platform as a product, managing internal users as customers and adoption across teams.
• Strong collaboration with design and engineering, with knowledge of theming, tokens and component architecture.
• Familiarity with Web and mobile app development contexts (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive the long-term vision and adoption of the design system across Web and App platforms.
• Manage the product roadmap and prioritise the backlog to align with business goals.
• Coordinate design and engineering workstreams for seamless delivery to internal teams.
• Advocate for the design system and share progress across the business.
• Set premium UX standards through reusable components and patterns.
• Embed accessibility guidelines across the system and support assistive tech.
• Ensure technical alignment with related platform requirements.
• Establish productivity baselines and OKRs that map to business OKRs and scorecards.
• Support governance structures as the design system evolves.
• Cultivate an active user community through outreach and surveys.
