An innovative engineering solutions firm in Lisbon seeks a Design Engineer for the powertrain division. You will design and develop components and assemblies from idea to production, optimize existing designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates shall have an engineering degree and experience in automotive design, alongside proficiency in 3D CAD systems like CATIA V5. We are looking for new colleagues, from junior to senior level, who are interested in joining our design team in the powertrain division. If you want to not only design technology, but also truly understand and develop it, then you've come to the right place.

Currently we are looking for a Design Engineer – Powertrain (all genders)

As a design engineer, you will work closely with technology and design components and assemblies from the initial idea to series production. Your tasks at a glance:

• Design and development of components and assemblies in the powertrain environment
• Optimization and further development of existing designs
• New developments according to customer specifications and technical coordination with the customer
• Design changes in the ongoing development process
• Packaging work and complex installation space investigations with a high degree of variant diversity
• Performance of tolerance analyses
• Close cooperation with project teams and related departments
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Completed engineering degree or comparable technical training
• Experience in design, ideally in the automotive or powertrain environment
• Confident use of 3D CAD systems such as CATIA V5
• Tooling-oriented design and knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of systematic component development from development to series production
• Experience with data management systems (e.g., KVS, Connect)
• Structured, reliable working style and a high sense of responsibility
• Team spirit and the ability to communicate technical topics clearly
