A SWJ Portugal Engineering Solutions procura Engenheiro de Design – Powertrain para integrar a equipa de design na divisão powertrain. Procuramos candidatos de nível júnior a sênior, com foco em design de componentes, otimização de peças e coordenação com clientes.

Qualificações

• É exigido diploma de engenharia ou formação técnica equivalente.
• Experiência em design, preferencialmente automotivo/powertrain.
• Conhecimento sólido em CATIA V5 e processos de fabricação.

Responsabilidades

• Projetar componentes e conjuntos no ambiente powertrain.
• Otimizar e desenvolver designs existentes.
• Criar alterações conforme especificações do cliente e coordenar com o cliente.

SWJ Portugal Engineering Solutions is part of the international SWJ group and right here in Lisbon, passion meets technology. Our team works across software, hardware and testing to bring innovative embedded system solutions to life. We combine agile methods, high standards, and customer-focused thinking to turn ideas into real-world impact. We are looking for new colleagues, from junior to senior level, who are interested in joining our design team in the powertrain division. If you want to not only design technology, but also truly understand and develop it, then you've come to the right place. Currently we are looking for a Design Engineer – Powertrain (all genders).

Your tasks

• Design and development of components and assemblies in the powertrain environment
• Optimization and further development of existing designs
• New developments according to customer specifications and technical coordination with the customer
• Design changes in the ongoing development process
• Packaging work and complex installation space investigations with a high degree of variant diversity
• Performance of tolerance analyses
• Close cooperation with project teams and related departments
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Your skills

• Completed engineering degree or comparable technical training
• Experience in design, ideally in the automotive or powertrain environment
• Confident use of 3 D CAD systems such as CATIA V5
• Tooling-oriented design and knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of systematic component development from development to series production
• Experience with data management systems (e.G., KVS, Connect)
• Structured, reliable working style and a high sense of responsibility
• Team spirit and the ability to communicate technical topics clearly
