Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to join our hybrid Lisbon team. You will design and optimize data pipelines across layered data lake architectures, leveraging Databricks for scalable solutions.

We require 4+ years of professional experience, hands-on Databricks expertise, and strong data governance skills including data catalog and lineage management. Data Vault familiarity is a plus in our growing international environment.

Databricks Data Engineer

Location

Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills

• 4+ years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience with Databricks specifically, not only generic Spark/cloud data engineering (mandatory)
• Strong Data Engineering background, with proven experience building and optimizing pipelines across layered/data lake architectures (mandatory)
• Experience with data governance practices, including data catalog and data lineage implementation/management (mandatory)
• Familiarity with Data Vault modeling (preferred)
