Syffer is a data-focused consulting firm seeking a Data Engineer to migrate Azure Synapse workloads to Databricks and design robust data pipelines. You will contribute to the governance-enabled data platform, align with layered data lake architectures, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in data engineering, hands-on Databricks experience, and strong problem-solving skills; English fluency is required, Portuguese is a plus.

What You'll do:

• Support the migration of an existing Azure Synapse architecture to Databricks;
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of a Data Vault architecture;

Who You Are:

• 4-5 years of experience in Data Engineering;
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (mandatory);
• Strong background in building and optimizing pipelines across layered data lake architectures (mandatory);
• Experience with data governance, including data catalog and data lineage implementation (mandatory);
• Familiarity with Data Vault modeling (preferred);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with Databricks AI/ML capabilities is a plus;
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
