Syffer is a data-focused consulting firm seeking a Data Engineer to migrate Azure Synapse workloads to Databricks and design robust data pipelines. You will contribute to the governance-enabled data platform, align with layered data lake architectures, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in data engineering, hands-on Databricks experience, and strong problem-solving skills; English fluency is required, Portuguese is a plus.

Qualificações

• 4–5 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Hands-on Databricks experience required.
• Experience building pipelines across layered data lake architectures.
• Experience with data governance, data catalog, and data lineage implementation.
• Familiarity with Data Vault modeling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate an existing Azure Synapse architecture to Databricks.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of a Data Vault architecture.
• Contribute to scalable and high-performance data engineering solutions.
• Support data governance initiatives, including data catalog and data lineage implementation.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and governance in the new data platform.
• Collaborate with technical teams to modernize data processing capabilities.
