Decskill, an IT consulting company with over 10 years of experience, is growing and seeking a Database Engineer (SQL Server Expert) for a project with a hybrid working model based in Porto, Portugal.

You will be the SME for SQL Server databases, drive patch management and major version upgrades, and develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible while collaborating with DevOps tools and teams.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Automation experience with Ansible
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD (Git/Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, XLDeploy)

Responsabilidades

• Subject matter expert on SQL Server databases infrastructure.
• Experience on SQL Server patch management and major version upgrade.
• Scripting to automate database tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD for database changes.

Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert on SQL Server Databases infrastructure;
• Experience on SQL Server patch management and major version upgrade;
• Scripting;
• Subject matter expert on SQL Server Databases infrastructure;

Requirements:

• Knowledge on other SGBD technologies (Oracle, MySQL, PostGRE, MongoDB);
• Experience in automation with Ansible;
• Python programming;
• Powershell scripting;
• Experience in development using DevOPs tools (GIT Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, XLDeploy to manage CI/CD environments).
