IRIUM Portugal is seeking an experienced Database Administrator specialized in IBM DB2 LUW on Linux for an international project. You will manage, tune, and optimize large Linux DB2 instances, collaborating with frontend, backend, and mainframe teams to ensure high availability and performance.

You should have 5+ years in DB2 LUW administration, strong Linux skills (SLES/CentOS), and experience with Siebel or Cognos integrations.

Qualificações

• Completed technical studies in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in high-performance environments
• Strong Linux administration skills (SLES, CentOS) and VMware usage
• Minimum 5 years of DB2 LUW administration experience
• Experience with DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos
• Fluent in English with good communication skills

We are currently looking for a Database Administrator DB2 LUW (Linux) for an international project.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Analyze and Tune Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 Database instances
• Maintain and improve the Core datasets, on which the Company relies for daily business
• Adapt to various existing frameworks, and contribute to the definition of future ones
• Provide implementations that will be reliable, fast, scalable and responsive
• Work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as frontend and backend developers, mainframe specialists, technology architects, as well as our operations colleagues

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed technical studies in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar experience
• Operation and integration in High-Performance environments
• Excellent understanding of Linux Administration (SLES, CentOS), Virtualization with VMware (as a user)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUW database management systems
• Experience in DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos
• Proficient in Statement/Procedure Optimization
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills

Range Salarial

• € – *****€ net monthly
