• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or AI, with a focus on life sciences, pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated exposure to business development, presales, proposal creation, or solution shaping.
• Fluent in professional German and English.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist / AI Lead with strong experience in life sciences, pharma, and healthcare to join our Global team with .

This role combines technical leadership, client delivery, and business development. You will lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions for Life Sciences clients, while also helping shape new opportunities, proposals, and offerings.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in data science and AI, a strong understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical business challenges, and the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and delivery of data science and AI projects for Life Sciences clients.

Required Experience:

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or AI, with a strong focus on life sciences, pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data mining techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated exposure to business development, presales, proposal creation, or solution shaping.
• Fluent in professional German and English.
