Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a Data Scientist in Finance to help build predictive models, analyze data, and drive data-driven decisions across the department.

You will work with Finance, IT, and business teams to leverage data lakes, structure databases, and implement state-of-the-art tools while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualificações

• Data analysis, statistics, and data mining experience.
• Data assimilation and cleansing skills.
• Experiment design experience.
• Proficient in Python and R.
• Experience with BI tools (SAP BW, Qlik Sense, Power BI).
• Finance domain knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a diverse team.
• English at negotiation level; French/German/Spanish appreciated.

Responsabilidades

• Spread data science awareness within the Finance community.
• Identify use cases where predictive, simulations, correlation analysis or classification can help the function.
• Work in project mode to implement new initiatives.
• Steer data science analyses and communicate results to business partners.
• Support stabilization of processes and tools of the department (e.g., SAP Data Intelligence).
• Maintain and evolve a portfolio of existing applications.
• Be mindful of compliance risks and act with integrity.

Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardization, harmonization, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Responsibilities - your mission

Do you want to play a proactive role within the Airbus Finance team to strengthen our data science capabilities?

Do you have a strong background in applied statistics and data analysis in order to help us build predictive scenarios for key projects in Airbus Finance?

Are you motivated to dive into the Airbus data lakes, structure databases and create use cases together with our Finance professionals?

Interested in interacting as a stakeholder within a multi-functional team to coordinate between Finance business, IT counterparts and in connection with the data science community to strengthen Finance with the state of the art technology.

• You will take an active stake in spreading data science awareness within the Finance community

• Jointly with the Airbus business, you will identify uses cases where Predictive, Simulations, Correlation analysis or Classification approaches will bring benefits to the function

• You will work in a project mode to implement new initiatives

• As an expert, you are responsible to steer the data science analysis and to share it in a comprehensive manner to our business counterparts

• In coordination with the IT and the other data scientists, you will support the stabilization of the processes and tools of the department. For example, by running proofs of concept or contributing to the implementation of our tools like SAP Data Intelligence

• You will ensure the support and run the required evolution on a portfolio of already existing applications

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

• Data analysis skills, applied statistics, data mining

• Data assimilation, data cleansing

• Experiment designing

• Computer science: Python, R

• Background within Business Intelligence software (SAP BW, QlikSense, Power BI…) is a plus

• Experience or knowledge within the Finance landscape

• Ability and willingness to integrate a team with diverse profiles and objectives

• Languages skills: Negotiation level of English. French, German, Spanish also appreciated
