Job summary

Jobgether partners with a global team to hire a Data QA Engineer based in Portugal. You will translate customer data extraction needs into test criteria, perform exploratory and automated testing, and report findings with clear metrics.

You will use Python (Pandas/Jupyter), SQL, and REST API testing to ensure completeness, accuracy, and data drift control across projects, collaborating with managers and developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/software testing or data QA.
• Proficient in Python for data validation (Pandas/Jupyter).
• SQL skills in at least one relational DB.
• Understanding of HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, CSS.
• Experience testing HTTP/REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Translate data extraction requirements into QA criteria and test plans.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing where valuable.
• Validate datasets against specs; identify inconsistencies and defects.
• Document defects with steps and evidence for quick fixes.
• Use statistics and visualizations to assess data quality.
