Tata Consultancy Services in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Data Production Support/Operational Engineer to own production support for data warehouses and ETL pipelines.

You will monitor ETL workflows, optimize queries, manage incidents, perform RCA, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid work setup. A 6+ year background in data warehousing, Informatica, Airflow, and CI/CD is required to improve data reliability and performance.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Integration, or Production Support.
• 5+ years hands‑on with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS/IDMC.
• Strong understanding of ETL, data integration, and data warehouse concepts.
• Advanced SQL knowledge for complex queries and performance optimization.
• Experience with job scheduling/orchestration tools like Airflow and TWS.
• Hands‑on with Git, Azure DevOps and version control best practices.
• Production support and operations management within Data Warehouse environments.
• Experience with incident, problem, change management and RCA.
• Knowledge of SLA management, KPI tracking, and operational reporting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support daily Data Warehouse production operations.
• Ensure ETL workflows and batch jobs run reliably and on time.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and data load failures.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve issues within SLAs.
• Execute operational tasks like job restarts, reruns, and recovery procedures.
• Analyze SQL queries and assist performance tuning with DB teams.
• Validate data loads and ensure source/target data integrity.
• Support CI/CD deployment for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Maintain and improve operational runbooks and documentation.

• Hands‑on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and version control best practices.
• Strong experience in production support and operations management within Data Warehouse environments.
• Proven track record in incident management, problem management, change management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience monitoring ETL workflows, batch processes, and enterprise data platforms.
• Familiarity with SLA management, KPI tracking, and operational reporting.
• Strong documentation skills, including the creation and maintenance of operational runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile and cross‑functional environments.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, preferably Data Vault methodology.
• Exposure to CI/CD implementation for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Experience supporting cloud‑based data integration and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and alerting frameworks.
• Monitor and support daily Data Warehouse production operations, ensuring platform stability and reliability.
• Ensure the successful execution of ETL workflows, batch jobs, and data processing activities.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, data load failures, and system issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring incidents.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues within agreed SLA targets.
• Execute operational activities, including job restarts, reruns, recovery procedures, and production support tasks.
• Analyze ETL performance and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Support the deployment of Informatica solutions across Development, Test, Acceptance, and Production environments.
• Monitor scheduling and orchestration platforms such as Airflow and TWS, ensuring smooth execution of workflows.
• Maintain and continuously improve operational documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Analyze SQL queries and collaborate with database teams to support performance tuning initiatives.
• Validate data loads and ensure consistency and integrity between source and target systems.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation checks to ensure high‑quality data delivery.
• Monitor data quality KPIs, investigate anomalies, and support data quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in major incident management, problem management, and service improvement activities.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Maintain source code repositories and deployment artifacts using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance operational excellence, process automation, and service reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient and scalable Data warehouse operations.
