Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Lisbon is seeking an Azure Data & DevOps Engineer to design and deploy cloud solutions with a strong focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities include Docker/Kubernetes deployments, Python backend development, and IaC automation. The role offers hybrid work, a 9AM–6PM schedule, and a career development plan with performance-based reviews.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience designing and deploying solutions in Azure, including networking, security, Azure Data Factory, databases, and cost‑optimized architectures.
• Proven experience with Docker, AKS, and ACI, including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience developing production‑grade backend services using Python.
• Solid experience with Azure SQL, including writing complex SQL queries and performing performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Azure security best practices, including Azure AD, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and secure secret management (no hard‑coded secrets).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, or Bicep), and operational best practices for production environments.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools in Azure.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, cost‑efficient cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, ensuring clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Architect and optimize data solutions using Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory, including complex query development and performance tuning.
• Implement secure cloud architectures using Azure Active Directory, Managed Identities, and Key Vault, ensuring adherence to least privilege principles.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, manage logging, and ensure high availability and reliability of production systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing operational support.
• Deliver well‑documented solutions and support knowledge transfer for production readiness.
