Planet is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to help build and maintain a modern data platform focused on Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt. You will work with data engineers, analysts, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to keep data accurate and available for analytics and AI use cases.

You will develop ELT pipelines, support new data sources, and ensure data quality and governance across the platform. This role embraces a hybrid work model and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Proficient SQL for large datasets and analytics
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks or Redshift
• Experience with ELT/ETL tooling like Fivetran and data modeling with dbt

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using ELT tools (Fivetran) and event-based sources
• Integrate new data sources into Snowflake following established patterns
• Build ETL/ELT processes for timely, accurate data ingestion and transformation
• Implement ingestion patterns for incremental and full refresh loads
• Monitor pipelines, investigate failures and data quality issues
• Develop data transformation models using dbt
• Create dimensional models (facts and dimensions) per standards
• Contribute to data quality tests, validation rules, and lineage docs
• Prepare trusted datasets for analytics, AI, and self-service use cases
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, data flows, and platform components
• Follow data governance, security, and compliance standards
