Planet is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to help build and maintain a modern data platform. You will work with Data Engineers, Analysts and AI Engineers to ensure accurate, reliable data for analytics, predictive and operational use.

You will develop data pipelines using ELT tools such as Fivetran and manage ingestion patterns, while supporting Snowflake integrations and dbt modelling. A hybrid work model is offered with emphasis on collaboration.

Qualificações

• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift).
• Familiarity with ELT/ETL tools such as Fivetran.
• Advanced SQL for large datasets.
• Experience with dbt for modelling and transformations.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using ELT tools (Fivetran) and event sources.
• Support integration of new data sources into Snowflake per patterns.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for timely data ingestion and transformation.
• Assist in ingestion patterns for incremental and full loads.
• Monitor pipelines and investigate failures and data quality issues.
• Develop data transformation models using dbt and maintain dimensional models.
• Document data flows, transformations and platform components.
