KWAN is looking for a Data Modeling Analyst in Lisbon who is passionate about transforming complex data into clear reporting solutions. You will work closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders, analysing reporting needs and designing data models.

The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience in conceptual data modelling, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in UML and Power BI. A supportive work culture with competitive salary and benefits is offered.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience with conceptual data modelling and reporting analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Ralph Kimball Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.

The Challenge

• Translate business requirements into user stories and sprint tasks
• Analyse reporting needs and design conceptual data models
• Design and document semantic layers and data load flows using UML
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders
• Support Power BI reporting initiatives and end‑users during UAT phases
• Maintain reporting documentation, data dictionaries, and lineage clarity
• Analyse recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvements
• Perform technical analysis on Gas Flow Management databases

Important

This is NOT a Data Engineering role. The focus is on data modelling, reporting analysis, semantic layers, and business understanding.

What you bring to the table

• 4+ years of experience with conceptual data modelling and reporting analysis
• Strong knowledge of Ralph Kimball Data Warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical mindset and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements
• Experience with UML
• Experience with PowerBI
• Fluent English communication skills
