You will join our team based in Lisbon and work hybrid, contributing to the development, implementation, and enforcement of organizational data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement organizational data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Develop governance roadmaps and establish governance structures and committees
- Create and maintain data classification, ownership, stewardship, and quality policies
- Support data privacy, compliance, and incident response processes
- Define and monitor data quality standards and metrics
- Oversee enterprise data asset inventory and cataloging using Microsoft Purview
- Develop secure access management guidelines and monitor access controls
- Deliver stakeholder communication and training on governance policies
Profile
- Experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks in enterprise environments
- Experience in regulated sectors or humanitarian organizations
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and multinational compliance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Fabric, and data catalog tools
- Certifications in data governance, stewardship, and Microsoft compliance
- Academic background: computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or related field
- English fluent. Portuguese or French is a plus.
- You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
