Closer Consulting is seeking a Data Governance & Quality Consultant to design, implement, and scale governance and quality practices in a large-scale enterprise. You will bridge business requirements with data engineering across modern cloud environments, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and ongoing data quality improvements.

You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, define governance policies, and drive adoption through structured programs and measurable KPIs.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and implementing Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
• Ability to define metadata, lineage, and data quality rules.
• Strong communication with business and technical teams.
• Experience bridging business requirements with data engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define, document, and evolve enterprise-wide Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Establish data quality metrics, business rules, KPIs, and monitoring processes.
• Produce and maintain guidelines for Data Governance and Data Quality across platforms.
• Plan and execute strategic Data Governance initiatives from requirements to adoption.
• Define executive metrics and reporting for governance maturity and data quality health.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align business and IT needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Data Governance & Quality Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and scaling end-to‑to‑end Data Governance and Data Quality practices for a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical data engineering teams, driving the adoption of enterprise data standards, operational governance models, and data quality frameworks across modern cloud environments.

• Data Governance & Quality Frameworks: Define, document, and evolve enterprise-wide Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, policies, standards, processes, and guidelines aligned with organizational data strategies.
• Data Quality Management: Establish methodologies, data quality dimensions, business rules, metrics, KPIs, and continuous monitoring processes, including issue management workflows for identification, tracking, and remediation.
• Standards & Pattern Guidelines: Produce and maintain architectural patterns, best practices, and guidelines for implementing Data Governance and Data Quality across various analytics platforms and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strategic Project Execution: Plan and execute strategic Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives—from initial business requirements gathering and solution design to full‑scale adoption and outcome monitoring.
• Reporting & Maturity KPIs: Define metrics and executive reporting mechanisms to measure governance adoption, platform data quality health, and overall Data Governance maturity across the organization.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical specifications effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate, and align diverse business and IT stakeholders.
• Analytical Mindset: Structured, logical approach to complex problem‑solving and process design.
• Autonomy & Proactivity: High degree of initiative, self-organization, and commitment to continuous improvement.
