Aubay Portugal helps large organizations across banking, insurance, telecommunications, and energy build and evolve critical systems that support millions of users. Established in Portugal in 2007, it is part of an international group operating in several European countries.

Задачи:

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data architectures using Lakehouse and Medallion patterns with Delta Lake
• Develop and optimize robust data pipelines, including streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), and event-driven integrations using Azure Event Hub
• Define and implement data governance, security, and observability strategies across Azure cloud environments, incorporating Unity Catalog
• Drive architectural reviews and promote an SRE mindset to ensure operational excellence and efficient cloud cost management
• Collaborate on defining and developing Data Products and API integration strategies (REST, Async, Event APIs)

Требования:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a similar Technical Lead role
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Event Hub, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Key Vault
• Understanding of data architecture concepts, including Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Data Products, and Data Mesh
• Experience with event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, Change Data Capture (CDC), and REST, Async, and Event APIs
• Solid understanding of Data Governance, observability, SRE principles, cloud cost management, and security
• Fluent Portuguese, written and spoken; understanding of English
• Alignment with the company’s corporate culture and commitment to integrity and ethics
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritization, and daily commitment
