Continental drives digital solutions for connected mobility. We seek a Data Engineer to design and optimize scalable data pipelines handling IoT and telematics data, collaborating with data scientists and MLOps. You will build cloud data platforms, ensure data quality, and enable AI/ML services across our global fleet customers.

The role emphasizes real-time and batch processing, data governance, and mentoring junior engineers in an international, fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines with AirFlow.
• Hands-on with big data frameworks like Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, DBT.
• Strong data modeling and database knowledge (relational, NoSQL, time-series).
• Experience with Agile methods and working in international teams.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch processing of IoT and telematics data.
• Develop and manage cloud-based data platforms, optimizing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement data quality, validation, and governance processes, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers to deliver reliable datasets and support end-to-end AI/ML services.
• Mentor junior engineers, review work, and share knowledge to promote best practices.
