act digital in Lisbon is seeking a Data Engineer (French Speaker) to join a strategic project in a hybrid setup based in Lisbon (Parque das Nações) with 2 to 3 days on-site per week. You will design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and collaborate with European teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Data Engineering, strong Python (or Scala/Java), and experience with cloud data platforms and big data tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering or ETL/ELT experience.
• Proficient in Python (or Scala/Java) and SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data tools.
• French language proficiency (B2/C1) and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Collaborate on data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Implement data quality checks and governance across pipelines.
• Tune queries and optimize performance of data storage/processing.
• Work with cross-border European teams in an Agile delivery framework.
