Job summary

Capgemini is launching a new Tech Hub in Porto and seeks a Data Engineer to help build scalable data platforms. You will implement lakehouse architectures, craft production data pipelines in Azure, and enable BI consumption with Power BI.

We value 4+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python, and hands-on cloud experience with Data Factory, Databricks and Fabric, plus CI/CD tooling like Airflow and GitHub Actions. Hybrid work and growth programs are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, building and running production data pipelines.
• Cloud data pipelines in Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric) and SQL/Python expertise.
• Hands-on with pipeline orchestration and CI/CD tools (Airflow, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Infrastructure as code for cloud data infra (Terraform, Bicep).
• dbt experience is a strong plus; AI-assisted development tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish data processes and infrastructure from scratch where needed.
• Build, run and improve production-grade cloud data pipelines.
