Job summary

Hiscox Underwriting Group Services Ltd Portugal (HUGS PT) is seeking a data engineer to join the Enterprise Technology Data service vertical, reporting to the Head of Data Engineering. You will work on scale data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-on-premise architectures across multiple platforms.

The role requires hands-on development in GCP with Python and SQL, experience with SQL Server, SSIS and T‑SQL, and the ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end data solutions,

Qualifications

• Experience developing ETL solutions in GCP using Python and SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS and T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse architectures and ETL/ELT best practices.
