A equipa de dados da Celfocus busca um Data Engineer AWS para desenhar, construir e manter plataformas de dados robustas em Lisboa. O candidato trabalhará com equipas multidisciplinares para transformar dados em insights acionáveis e apoiar decisões de negócio.

O papel envolve desenvolvimento de pipelines escaláveis, integração de dados e garantia de qualidade, com foco na segurança e no desempenho. Oportunidade de growth e projetos internacionais, com regime híbrido.

Qualificações

• Experiência com plataformas de nuvem para engenharia de dados (AWS).
• Proficiência em linguagens Python, Java ou Scala.
• Conhecimento de ferramentas de Big Data como Spark, Flink, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala e Kafka Streams/Connect.
• Conhecimento de modelagem de dados e princípios de design de bases de dados.
• Familiaridade com ferramentas de integração de dados e ETL (ex.: Apache Kafka, Talend).
• Compreensão de sistemas distribuídos e arquiteturas de processamento de dados.
• Fortes habilidades SQL e experiência com bases de dados relacionais e NoSQL.
• Familiaridade com outras plataformas de nuvem (GCP, Azure Data Factory).
• Experiência com controle de versão (Git).

Responsabilidades

• Design, construir e manter plataformas de dados escaláveis.
• Coletar, processar e analisar grandes conjuntos de dados de várias fontes.
• Desenvolver e implementar fluxos de processamento de dados com Spark/Beam.
• Colaborar com equipas multifuncionais para assegurar a precisão e integridade dos dados.
• Assegurar a segurança e privacidade dos dados com controles de acesso e criptografia.
• Extrair dados de várias fontes, incluindo bases de dados, sistemas de ficheiros e APIs.
• Monitorizar desempenho do sistema e otimizar para alta disponibilidade e escalabilidade.

About the role

The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining Data Platforms. Recognizes the importance of data for the organization in the areas where it is the key to success. Maintaining an eye on the big picture and knowing the details of the business are decisive for this role.

This role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining the data platform required for data storage, processing, orchestration, and analysis.

The mission involves implementing scalable and performant data pipelines and data integration solutions.

Agnostic of data sources and technologies to ensure efficient data flow and high data quality, enabling data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to access and analyze data effectively.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms;
• Collect, process, and analyze large and complex data sets from various sources;
• Develop and implement data processing workflows using data processing framework technologies such as Spark, and Apache Beam;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity;
• Ensure data security and privacy through proper implementation of access controls and data encryption;
• Extraction of data from various sources, including databases, file systems, and APIs;
• Monitor system performance and optimize for high availability and scalability.

What are we looking for?

• Experience with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (AWS);
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala;
• Use of Big Data Tools as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams and Connect, Druid, etc.;
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles;
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend);
• Understanding of distributed systems and data processing architectures;
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases;
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms and services for data engineering (e.g., GCP, Azure Data Factory);
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
