Aptiv is seeking a Production Planner to translate demand into actionable, data-driven production plans within our manufacturing operations in Braga. You will ensure connected, optimized, and responsive processes, reporting to the Planning Team Leader and the Production Control & Logistics Director.

You will develop levelled plans, reduce changeover times, and collaborate with production teams to drive continuous improvements in material and labor usage while supporting scheduling tools and ERP

Qualificações

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics, IT, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Production Control & Logistics.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• High sense of ownership, responsibility and confidentiality.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Knowledge in VBA is a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a levelled production plan, balancing machinery capacity, workforce availability, and material flow.
• Reduce changeover time and optimize production batches for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate the link between all the different production processes.
• Monitor daily production performance and replan accordingly when deviations occur.
• Engage closely with production teams to identify and implement continuous improvements in material and labor usage.
• Support and develop planning tools and applications to enhance scheduling capabilities.
